看！西边绘彩的飘窗*，
夕阳染红玻璃，熠熠生辉，
婉若美人玉立。
窗外闪耀着爱与憩息之星！
很快，星将隐去，
褪去那光彩夺目的外衣，
带着溫柔与爱，
去梦里安歇，
在远处黛色的松林那边。
啊，我心爱的，甜蜜的金星！
爱之晨星，爱之长庚星！
我世上最美，最温柔的可人儿，
也随同天上那美丽之星，
进入夜间歇息，
光淡去，窗幽暗了。

The Evening Star
Lo! in the painted oriel of the West,
